Magic deck vampire

This is my best vampire deck for now. It is a small updated version of my earlier posted black vampire deck, so ill will only tell a bit about the changes I made.

Starting off with the new M11 vampire: Captivating Vampire. While giving all other vampires +1/+1 it also has the ability to gain control of other creatures when tapping five vampires. Or in other words: Good fun!  Malakir Bloodwitch was added to gain some extra life in the multiplayer mtg game. Which is a nice extra ability for a only five mana 4/4 flying. For the same reason I added Exsanguinate from Scars of Mirrodin.

As my standard deck was a bit too slow, I removed a few of the more expensive casting cost creatures like Butcher of Malakir and replaced them with Dark Ritual‘s to make the deck faster.

White Soldier Deck

Aldo I liked my former multiplayer soldier deck, I decided it was time for a change. While my friends thought they knew all cards in this deck by now, I surprised them with a little annoying twist. Say hello again to the old school card Armageddon! Of course I only wanted to hurt my opponents and not myself, but almost all my cards are around three mana, so I needed a little help. That’s why I also added Khalni Gem . Sent two land cards back to my hands, destroy them and build one again. Then I can continue casting cards with at least three mana and one more in the next turn.

I also bought the duel deck: Elspeth vs Tezzeret, which included two more mtg soldier cards to add into this deck. A second Loyal Sentry for another one mana blocker and Catapult Master with the ability to Exile a target creature for tapping five untapped soldiers. I Removed Door of Destinies from the deck. I barely used it because by the time I could make it, my hand was already empty. Second I removed Mobilization. With the newly added land destruction there wasn’t much of a change I was going to waste three mana for a single 1/1 white Soldier.

Eldrazi Spawn deck

Not only we got some large colorless Eldrazi creatures with Rise of the Eldrazi, but also some quite useful little Eldrazi spawn token ‘s. I thought they deserved an mtg deck on their own so I started building one around Beastmaster Ascension.  It’s all quite easy. Get around 7 spawn tokens on the table with help of Brood Birthing and some others. Then, while they still look so harmless, cast the Beastmaster and attack. That will be 7 x 5 = 35 damage instead of zero.

But this easy, would only happen if my opponent’s deck is crap as hell. Besides, this deck is meant for multiplayer magic so I can’t rely on a single enchantment. Hellion Eruption is added as another option to do some damage or after I launched a full attack on a single opponent, I can get myself some blockers against my other enemies.

Aldo I prefer a Coat in most decks, Door of Destinies might just fit a little bit better in here. This way I can cycle thru my Eldrazi Spawn tokens by sacrificing them, buy new ones with Fecundity while still keeping them powerful on their own. In the meanwhile, Essence Warden will keep my life total steady.

I changed this token deck a few times, so I put the removed cards in the removed section of the deck list.
